Vacancy: Ranch Hand / Office Manager

We are looking for a part-time Office Manager ((24 hours/week) to keep administration and HR running smoothly in
Ghent. A position that grows together with the company, so the range of duties and working hours may change in the future.

Job description:

– Administrative support: ad-hoc projects, calendar management, travel management, meeting rooms,
catering, etc.
– Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
– Purchase Management: general purchasing and lab specific
– Point of contact for suppliers and service providers
– HR support: payroll – in collaboration with the external payroll provider, recruitment, introduction of new
employees, ad-hoc questions and projects
– Day-to-day support to colleagues
– Assist in organizing company events and gatherings

Your profile:
– At least 5 years of experience in similar job
– Experience in a similar environment (Bio/Food-tech) is a plus
– Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
– Attention to detail and problem solving skills
– Strong written and verbal communication skills (Dutch and English)
– A creative mindset with an ability to suggest improvements
– Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and quick in learning new programs
– Able to work in team as well as independently.
